ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Science, technology, engineering and math may not be everyone’s favorite subjects in school, but the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History wants to change that.
The museum is having an event titled Discover STEM Day. STEM is the educational acronym for science, technology, engineering and math.
Join local scientists and engineers in experimenting with hands-on activities.
Some of the experiments will be learning how to fly on a flight simulator, launching rockets, making ice cream with liquid nitrogen and many more.
All activities are kid friendly and designed to spark their interests in the not-so-popular classes in school.
Discover STEM day on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to this event is included in the price of the museum.
