Nuclear Museum makes snow for precipitation-starved Albuquerque

News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Without the precipitation needed for actual snow in the metro area, the Nuclear Museum turns to fun science for a solution!

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will host “Eureka: Art & Architecture Edition” on Jan. 15 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. In this one-day break from school, students 6 through 12 years old will explore and create like the masters while discovering the building blocks of early art and architecture with Archimedes, the Romans and Leonardo da Vinci.

To promote the fun camps, local experts created fun snow in the studio!
