ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local theater is hosting a classic play, but with an interesting adaptation.
North 4th Theatre will opening it’s door for audiences to enjoy the classic performance, The Scarlet Letter. This is a story that questions religious piety that excludes grace, mercy and forgiveness.
The twist, it is set in 1940, rather than the original puritan setting.
Actors in the play, Ben Nolte and Alex Harden, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to talk about the play and the changes. Watch above.
