Nonprofit CEO accused of stealing money from disabled clients

News

The CEO of a non-profit has been indicted for stealing money from clients.

Last month, a search warrant revealed Pamela Crumpler was involved in a scheme at Guardian Angels, a company that manages finances for disabled people.

The AG’s office says Crumpler opened bank accounts for clients during a promotional period, then transferred their $200 sign up bonuses to the company’s accounts.

She faces up to 12 years behind bars.
