New information will help local ranchers produce more beef with a lower environmental impact.
To help livestock producers stay up to date with the latest information, New Mexico State University is co-hosting a “Beef Symposium” in Tucumcari.
The January symposium is an educational event jointly hosted with Texas A&M “Agrilife Extension Service.”
The program includes presentations on the benefits of technology in the beef industry, emerging health concerns in feeder cattle and consumer-driven beef quality assurance.
