The New Mexico Racing Commission will discuss the possibility of a sixth racino license this Friday.
The commission postponed it’s decision last month because of a court petition seeking to block the commission from making a decision until a second feasibility study is conducted.
It was filed by one of the companies competing for that new license claiming the last study was flawed.
Five companies are fighting for that sixth license, three of them have plans for Clovis, the other two eying Tucumcari and Lordsburg.
