Summer meal program feeds kids when schools out

When school is in session, many children in New Mexico depend on lunch that their school provides them.

With school out for the summer, more than 4,000 of them don’t have access to regular meals.

That’s where the city is stepping in to help, by providing summer meals at local parks and helping to make sure the little ones stay fed.
