On average, there are 129 suicides per day, making it the 10th leading cause of death in the United States.
Suicide leaves many people heartbroken, confused and searching for answers. Mary Maurice’s Suicide Symposium will be a panel discussion dealing with suicide.
The panelist will be a suicide therapist, a suicide survivor and Mary Maurice. The purpose of this symposium is to bring awareness to this ever growing illness, and take this subject out of the dark taboo our society has placed it in, and bring this disease to light.
