The new organization “Modern Albuquerque,” was established to document and popularize the mid-century modern architecture in the city.

They embarked out into the community with their cameras, chatting with business owners, digging through the archives, and driving through the city streets to gather as much information as possible about this architectural resource.

It’s taken us hundreds of hours for them to build their knowledge and familiarity with modern architecture in Albuquerque.

“Modern Albuquerque” aims to become the go-to resource for anyone interested in local mid-century modern architecture and culture and plan to actively engage both residents and tourists alike around it through our tours, events, and the media we’ll be producing.
