Local non-profit partners with city for ‘One ABQ Challenge’

Newsfeed

Albuquerque Involved is a pressure-free organization that’s connecting youth with seniors in an impactful, community-oriented way.

Albuquerque Involved serves those who want to connect with their community, but who struggle to find the time or place to start.

They make it easy for busy individuals and families to get involved in giving and service to nonprofits in the greater Albuquerque community.

Albuquerque Involved is now partnering with the City of Albuquerque on their #ThisIsABQ August challenge to connect Youth and Elders.

The One ABQ Challenge is a service project initiative from the Office of Mayor Tim Keller, to encourage people to unify and serve their community.

In its inaugural year, this August, the city is encouraging cross-generational civic engagement by promoting youth and elders to combine forces to work on projects that reflect Albuquerqueโ€™s creativity, diversity and needs.
