Eggs have gotten a bad rap based on the amount of cholesterol the yolk contains.
The recommendations for dietary cholesterol has changed. What we now know is that not all people respond to dietary cholesterol, while others are known as hyper-responders meaning.
If you do not have high cholesterol, there is no dietary limit established. If you do have high cholesterol, I recommend working with your dietitian to determine if you are in face a hyper-responder as this will determine whether or not you need to worry about limiting your egg intake.
Eggs are considered the gold standard of proteins. They provide all of the essential amino acids our body needs to build muscles.
Not only that, eggs (the yolk) provides awesome nutrients like choline for brain development and memory improvement, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids.
