Encuentro is a non-profit community education center in the heart of Albuquerque’s Barelas neighborhood where Spanish-speaking immigrant adult learners can re-engage in educational opportunities (ESL, Citizenship, Computer, Financial Literacy, etc.) that build job skills and support leadership development to promote economic and social justice.

To celebrate their eighth year of working together with the community, Encuentro will celebrate the ‘Share to Love Lotería Night’ at 714 4th Street SW, ABQ, NM.

The evening provides a night of fun for Encuentro students and their families to enjoy Lotería games, food, fellowship, entertainment and prizes.

The culturally rich tradition of ‘Lotería’, popularly referred to as ‘Mexican bingo’ is traditionally a game of chance, that integrates poetry, a riddle or clue with images on a card to play the game.

Images include La Salsa, El Chile, El Corazon, etc.

This special event is possible thanks to the support of sponsors like Southwest Capital Bank, Nusenda Foundation, Rio Grande Credit Union, and McCune Foundation and their ongoing commitment to the Latino Immigrant community.
