Albuquerque Involved serves those who want to connect with their community but who struggle to find the time or place to start. They make it easy for busy individuals and families to get involved in giving and service to nonprofits in our greater Albuquerque community.

Their hope is for members to find agencies that ignite their passion and inspire them to get Involved in those nonprofits directly. During the month of May, Albuquerque Involved will be showcasing Storehouse New Mexico which provides food for approximately 53,000 people annually, from infants to seniors.

Albuquerque Involved gives grant money to local nonprofits and organizes multiple service projects each month. Individuals and groups are both welcome to volunteer at these opportunities.

Additionally, every month three local nonprofits will be featured on their website. Members of Albuquerque Involved who donate select their favorite organization with the winner receiving the grant which can be up to $3,000.

Storehouse is the state’s largest food pantry, providing free food to people who are struggling, regardless of race or faith. In New Mexico, 1 in 4 children are going hungry, and the state ranks among the worst for adult hunger, too.
