The theme for the 2018 Mural Fest is “When Nature Calls.”
It’s bringing the focus to Planet Earth’s climate crisis and how it is effecting all life on earth.
With New Mexico facing one of the worst droughts the area has seen in years, Mural Fest’s organizer felt a need to bring the world community together through murals, music and culinary arts to highlight solutions we can all play a part in moving forward.
Organizers are aiming to build off of last year’s success, where they had 45 muralists at 12 locations throughout Downtown, EDo and Wells Park.
This year, they plan to bridge the Central Corridor, blessing the city with positive pieces of art, celebrating Mother Earth and all she provides.
