All that winter weather could mean students in Santa Fe will have a longer spring semester.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reports district officials are in the process of deciding how to ensure that even with snow days students get the 180 full school days required by the state.

They say in school years with heavy winters like this one, kids may have to skip a holiday in April or tack on extra days at the end of the school year.

A final decision has not been made.
