The death of a Santa Fe city worker has uncovered safety violations.
Toby Williams, 27, was electrocuted while replacing lights at the convention center last week. The State Environment Department says an investigation has uncovered violations of OSHA, or the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
A spokesperson would not elaborate on the violations because the investigation is ongoing, but the purpose of OSHA is to make sure a workplace is free of serious hazards.
A final report could take months.
