Roswell acquires funds for airport expansion study

New funding will help determine how best to expand a local airport. 

According to the Roswell Daily Record, the New Mexico Department of Transportation granted $148,000 to the city of Roswell last month for an airport expansion study. 

The study will predict how much space will be needed at the airport 20 years from now. 

Research will cover estimated needs in security areas, ticket counters, food courts, energy efficiency and more.
