Rio Rancho City Councilors to vote on council seat approval

News Briefs

Rio Rancho City Council is scheduled to have a meeting Wednesday. One item on the agenda is voting to approve the mayor’s choice to fill a council seat.

Rio Rancho mayor Gregg Hull has picked Jeremy Lenentine to fill the currently vacant District 2 city council seat. Lenentine was selected from six other candidates.

If he’s officially sworn in, he would serve a term through March 2020. Lenentine will replace Dawnn Robinson who resigned just last month for family reasons.
