People can once again visit its public lands near Durango.
All of the city’s open spaces and trails reopened Thursday afternoon, with the exception of Lake Nighthorse, which is set to reopen Friday morning.
The closures were imposed after the 416 Fire erupted.
The city reminds people fire danger remains high, with crews still working to fully contain the fire north of town.
Fire and smoking bans are still in effect on public lands.
