Over 4,500 pounds of clothes donated to benefit Locker 505

Residents helped give clothes to Albuquerque kids in need.

The City of Albuquerque partnered with Locker 505 and Hinkle Family Fun Center for a recycling drive Saturday. People came out in force, donating more than 4,560 pounds of clothes and accessories. 

People who dropped off items received a free doughnut from Donut Mart and two passes to Hinkle. Through Locker 505’s clothing bank, students in need receive two sets of clothes along with new socks and underwear.
