Residents helped give clothes to Albuquerque kids in need.
The City of Albuquerque partnered with Locker 505 and Hinkle Family Fun Center for a recycling drive Saturday. People came out in force, donating more than 4,560 pounds of clothes and accessories.
People who dropped off items received a free doughnut from Donut Mart and two passes to Hinkle. Through Locker 505’s clothing bank, students in need receive two sets of clothes along with new socks and underwear.
