National Museum of Nuclear Science & History celebrates 50th anniversary

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is celebrating its 50th year in the Albuquerque metro. The museum in Albuquerque’s southeast heights was established in 1969.

Exhibits include accounts of the tests at the White Sands Missile Range, replicas of the atomic bombs dropped over Japan during WWII and the car that scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer used to shuttle between Los Alamos and the Trinity Site.
