LEA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) - A man wanted in Texas and Oklahoma is now accused of causing a scary scene in New Mexico.

Lea County deputies say James Johnson was on drugs and driving erratically up and down Tulsa Street in Hobbs on Friday.

They chased him until he crashed into a fence. Then they say he broke out his car window, pulled out a gun, then ran into a home and barricaded himself.

The SWAT team eventually brought him out.
