Law firm places attorney on leave due to AG's investigation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - An Albuquerque law firm placed one of its attorneys on leave after they learned the Attorney General's office is investigating him.

A search warrant was executed at the Whitner Law Firm on Wednesday.

Investigators took computers, electronics and items from Matthew O'Neill's office.

The law firm barred O'Neill from the office and he is not allowed to have contact with clients.

The firm says it is not aware of any criminal charges against O'Neill.
