Democratic gubernatorial candidate Michelle Lujan Grisham made a campaign stop along the U.S.-Mexico border.
According to The Las Cruces Sun-News, on Tuesday, Grisham alongside Sunland Park police chief and the mayor was part of a listening session about issues affecting the region.
There was also a focus on public safety and how to prevent crime from crossing the border.
Meanwhile, Republican candidate Steve Pearce is continuing with his campaign efforts.
On Tuesday, Pearce was in Las Cruces for the opening of an office that will serve both his campaign and that of Yvette Herrell, a state representative from Alamogordo and the GOP candidate to replace Pearce in the U.S. House.
