The finalists have been announced for New Mexico’s next state ornament.
This year’s theme is “New Mexico Films The Great American West,” showing the state’s history of film production and ranch culture.
The designs were created by students at New Mexico State University, Pojoaque Valley High School, the Institute of American Indian Arts, and the Public Academy for the Performing Arts.
The final winner will be announced in September, scoring a $2,500 scholarship. To check out the designs, click here.
