Federal funding to go towards feeding New Mexicans in need

News Briefs

Recently awarded federal funding will ensure more New Mexicans have food on their tables.

Presbyterian Health Care Services along with the Regional Development Corporation have been awarded a combined $435,000.

The funding comes from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture Community Foods Project and Planning Grant Program.

The money will be used to support seniors and families in need by expanding access to nutritious, locally-grown food.
