Clovis city commission to decide priorities for Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan

News Briefs

The Clovis city commission will decide how to spend state capital outlay Thursday.

Each year, legislators and the governor’s office determine where best to send any money the state may receive from oil and gas revenues.

Some of the projects currently receiving funds in Clovis include the Ute Water Pipeline Regional Project, the city’s effluent reuse system, street improvements, an airport fuel island and a new Clovis senior center.

The Eastern New Mexico News reports the commission will determine its top five priorities Thursday at 5:15 p.m.
