$60K grant awarded to UNM's Health Sciences Center

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - Money raised by you will help kids battling cancer.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation recently awarded the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center a $60,000 infrastructure grant.

The money will be used to support the development of more clinical trials, often a child's best chance for a cure.

Through three St. Baldrick's head-shaving events, the local community has raised more than $92,000 this year, making grants like this possible.
