New Mexico’s 2018 General Election is almost here. This election voters will cast their ballots to determine who will be New Mexico’s next governor. Below is some important information about Election Day, which is Nov. 6. 

Important Election Dates

Tuesday, October 9                                                                        
  • Deadline to register to participate in the 2018 General Election
  • County clerks will begin sending absentee ballots.
  • In-person voting will be available at each county clerk’s office during normal business hours. In Bernalillo County, in-person voting will be available at the Clerk’s Annex.
Saturday, October 20
  • Countywide early voting begins.
Friday, November 2
  • Last day for county clerks to send absentee ballots to voters.
Saturday, November 3
  • Last day of countywide early voting.
Tuesday, November 6
  • General Election Day.
  • Last day for voters to return an absentee ballot to their county clerk’s office or an Election Day polling location.

Early voting locations open in each county beginning on Saturday, October 20, 2018 and continue through Saturday, November 3, 2018. 

There will be many early voting locations set up across Albuquerque. View locations in map below. The locations of the Mobile Voting Unit are also included with the times and days.
