Workshop aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of opioid addiction

“Project Open” or opioid prevention and education network is set to host a training for government officials, city personnel, law enforcement and health professionals in Truth or Consequences Tuesday. 

The training is hosted by the Attorney General’s office and says it’s designed to help with the knowledge and understanding of opioid addiction.

The program is geared to expose policy advisors, investigators, consumer advocates and others to the impact and effect of opioid abuse in New Mexico. The training is on Tuesday, May 14 from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Truth or Consequences Ralph Edwards Auditorium-Civic Center.
