Video shows family being rescued from flash flooding in Hobbs

Families had to be rescued after flash flooding in Hobbs.

Jim Roll sent video to KRQE News 13 of a child clinging to their mother being rescued in waist-deep water. He says there were three kids in the car. Another driver was left stranded. 

Jim Roll also caught another rescue on a camera. The man seen helping the woman in the video is Perry Chee. 

Bill Martin also shared a video of rain falling, followed by hail. More than two inches of rain fell over 24 hours, causing streets to be left underwater as seen in the video taken by Olivia Chandler.
