UNM Hospital honored one of the men killed in last week’s avalanche at Taos Ski Valley.
The avalanche buried 26-year-old Matt Zonghetti of Massachusettes and 22-year-old Corey Borg-Massanari of Vail, Colorado.
Borg-Massanari died Monday after spending days in the intensive care unit at UNMH.
Tuesday, hundreds of staff and volunteers paid tribute to him by lining one of their hallways for an “honor walk.”
The family says Borg-Massanari was an organ donor and used to help several people on the transplant waiting list.
