A tribal legislative committee is expected to vote on whether or not to accept a 150-year-old document.

The 1868 treaty with the United States government allowed Navajos to return to their homeland in the Four Corners region.

The document is expected to have a permanent home at the Navajo tribe’s museum in Arizona.
