The long-unsolved case of Tara Calico is getting national attention once again.
People Magazine is highlighting the case in this month’s edition.
The two-page spread talks about the day Tara disappeared and the long search for answers from her family.
It also highlights the new efforts taken by her sister Michele and high school friend filmmaker Melinda Esquibel to solve the case.
Back in September, Esquibel and Michele became their own investigators. Esquibel has created a podcast “Vanished: the Tara Calico Investigation.”
Through the process, they’ve uncovered new details.
Much of the information uncovered cannot be released to the public because the FBI and sheriff’s department are still building a case and recently appointed a new detective to handle it.
