It appears many voters are still forming their own opinion on Governor Michele Lujan Grisham. The firm Morning Consult puts the Democratic governor at the bottom of the list with a 41% rating.
The rating is the result of a survey of over 5,000 registered voters across America on all 50 governors. According to the Albuquerque Journal, Lujan Grisham has the same approval ratings as other newly elected governors indicating voters might still be forming their opinion.
Her disapproval rating came in at 33%. Lujan Grisham ranked number 44 overall.
The survey also reports that the remaining percentage of voters surveyed had never heard of the governor or were undecided. There’s no word on how many registered voters were New Mexicans.
The Morning Consult also surveyed voters on senators. Tom Udall showed a 39% approval rating and 31% disapproval while Martin Heinrich’s approval rating was at 39% with a disapproval rating of 32%
