New Mexico’s hub for drug and alcohol treatment is moving to a bigger location to accommodate more patients.

The Turquoise Lodge Hospital will soon move from Zuni to the Gibson Medical Center. The move aims to better address the behavioral health and substance abuse needs across the region.

The new location adds eight additional beds for medical detox and lends itself to future growth. The old location will be absorbed by Bernalillo County’s Metropolitan Assessment Treatment Services Campus.
