A State Police officer has been placed on leave after an arrest for domestic violence.

Roslyn Vigil is accused of getting in a fight with her girlfriend, punching a hole in the wall and a cabinet, then shooting off a shot from her duty weapon, and getting in her State Police vehicle and fleeing to a nearby community center.

State Police say as soon as they learned of her arrest they put her on leave pending an internal affairs investigation.

She’s charged with criminal damage to private property, domestic violence, negligent use of a firearm, and tampering with evidence for picking up the bullet casing after firing the shot.
