While it’s still technically winter, that isn’t keeping some New Mexicans from celebrating like it’s summer.
The City of Albuquerque hosted its “Spring Into Summer” event at Tiguex Park on Saturday. Families could enjoy live music, games, a rock climbing wall, food trucks and more. It was all to raise awareness for the city’s upcoming summer programs.
“We want our youth to work with Albuquerque Fire, Albuquerque Police, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s here so we want everyone engaged and everyone to come together for these great events coming up,” said Brandon Gibson with the Parks and Recreation Department.
