Some New Mexico schools struggle with K-5 Plus requirements

Many New Mexico schools are already struggling to meet new requirements for the K-5 Plus programs. 

According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, some districts and charter schools say they’re too small and don’t have enough teachers to offer it.

The program would give at-risk students 25 extra days during the summer.
