Over 100 volunteers are searching the Navajo Nation for a missing 3-year-old girl from Aneth, Utah. The Navajo Police Department says Andanndine Jones has been missing since Thursday.

Police believe the young girl wandered from her home and say they are no indications the girl was abducted. Search teams which included the Farmington Fire Department and San Juan County Sheriff’s Office concentrated their efforts along the San Juan River west of Aneth.

Boat crews have already covered 24 miles of the river with no sight of the girl. Search efforts are being coordinated by the Navajo Division of Public Safety, as well as state emergency services.

Navajo Nation President Johnathan Nez said in a statement, ” First and foremost our thoughts and prayers are with this precious child an family. We pray for her safety and wellbeing as the search continues. We will continue to offer more updates as this situation proceeds. We ask for your prayers at this time.”

After three days of searching on land and water, there has been no sign of the girl. Navajo Police said Sunday they are taking a break to regroup and secure more resources.
