A Santa Fe woman has raised nearly $2 million to market her invention: an environmentally friendly straw.
KRQE News 13 first told you about “Final Straw” back in April.
Emma Cohen started the project with her business partner last year, in an effort to protect the environment.
The two created a kickstarter campaign that’s raised almost $2 million for production.
The stainless steel straw is collapsible, reusable, and comes in a case so you can take it anywhere.
Cohen says she hopes to get it on the market next year.
