Santa Fe voters approve recurring tax hike in mail in election

Voters in Santa Fe have overwhelmingly approved funding for technology in schools.

Voters were deciding on a five-year renewal of a property tax that brings in $11 million. Property taxes will not increase as a result. 

Results showed 59 percent of voters approved the property tax levy. The election also garnered a record turnout for special school district elections.
