It looks like Santa Fe Public School students won’t be punished for their parents’ behavior at sporting events.
The school board has dismissed a proposal that would have handed down discipline for unruly parents.
Board of Education President Steven Carrillo wanted to hold parents responsible for unsportsmanlike behavior.
He proposed their child be removed from a team if the parents act inappropriately at least three times in a school year.
However, the proposal failed to get support in Tuesday night’s board meeting.
Carrillo says he’ll drop the proposal.
