SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Recent rain and cloud cover has lowered the fire danger in the Santa Fe National Forest which means campfire and smoking restrictions will be lifted Thursday morning. The forest said it will continue to monitor the situation and could bring back restrictions if it dries out again.
They are urging visitors to use caution around campfires and other sources of flame.
