SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Santa Fe Fire Department participated in a drill that simulated an aircraft emergency. They practiced on Saturday.
The training prepped firefighters on how to deal with mass casualties, and volunteers acted as mock patients that were assigned injuries.
The full-scale drill is conducted every three years and is a way for the fire department to evaluate its response plan.
