Santa Fe County detectives have discovered the body of an Albuquerque man who was reported missing back in December.

The body of 27-year-old Marshall Naranjo was discovered Wednesday, Jan. 30 in the Pojoaque area. Investigators located him based on information gathered from their investigation.

Naranjo’s death is considered suspicious and an investigation is ongoing. His family has stated they last had contact with him on Dec. 28, 2018, during a family visit in Los Alamos. Naranjo was last seen at the Buffalo Thunder Resort in Pojoaque on Dec. 28, 2018.

Authorities were previously searching from a man seen talking to Naranjo on surveillance at the resort. Police believe the pair left in a dark-colored, four-door sedan.
