Roswell police identify alleged serial tagger

New Mexico News

Roswell Police say they’ve caught a serial tagger; now they want to hit him with as many charges as possible.

Police have connected 21-year-old Richard D. Young to graffiti tagged all over the city over the last year and a half.

They say removal has cost thousands of dollars and almost 100 man hours.

They’re now asking anyone who hasn’t reported graffiti with his moniker, “Shok,” to do it.

The more cases they have, the more charges they can file, and hopefully get restitution.

They already have 87 cases on file.

Police are also trying to identify other taggers with the monikers “RTC,” “Havoc,” “Dos1,” and “Bord.”
