Roswell considers creating its own Hall of Fame

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Roswell could soon be honoring its local sports heroes.

During a recent city council meeting, Recreation Supervisor Damien Cheathem discussed plans to create a Hall of Fame at its new recreation center. It would include jerseys and other memorabilia from professional athletes who grew up in Roswell.

The supervisor hopes the hall would inspire local youth.
