The Rio Rancho community made the most out of one of the final weekends of summer.
The city hosted the 13th Annual Mayor’s “Sunday is Funday” event at Haynes Park Sunday afternoon.
This year’s theme was “honoring our heroes.”
Families enjoyed music, food, rock climbing, games and more.
Proceeds raised by this event will go towards community youth programs.
