New Mexico came in at the bottom of a list ranking the hardest-working states in the United States. 

According to Wallethub, New Mexico ranks No. 47.

The rankings were based on factors like the average number of hours people work in a week and the number of households with no working adults.

The study also looked at whether workers leave vacation time unused and how many young people are neither working nor in school.
